We’re here to make your travel experience smooth, safe, and memorable - from first click to final trail. Before you book, please take a moment to review how we operate and what to expect when exploring the USA’s most iconic wild places.

Languages

Tours are conducted in one or more languages, noted beside each departure date.

Tour Confirmation

All tours are confirmed no later than 45 days prior to departure. Once confirmed, tours remain guaranteed, even if group numbers change.

Payment

The final balance is due 60 days prior to departure. A payment reminder is sent automatically. Unpaid bookings will be cancelled 30 days before the tour begins.

Cancellations

60-46 days prior 25% of trip cost due 

45-31 days prior 50% of trip cost due 

30-0 days prior 100% of trip cost due 

If Adventure Travel West cancels a tour or moves a traveller to a new departure, no fees apply. 

Insurance

Adventure Travel West strongly encourages travellers to carry travel insurance covering medical costs and theft. Adventure Travel West is not responsible for lost or stolen items on tour.

Waivers

All participants must sign a liability waiver before departure.

Disruptive Passengers

We reserve the right to remove anyone from a tour if they are unfit to continue or disrupt group travel.

Complaints

Any issues should be raised with your guide during the trip. Adventure Travel West must be given a chance to address concerns before post-trip claims are made.

How We Operate

Tours are run in 15-passenger vans with a single guide-driver. Some tours are bilingual. Walks may be guided or unguided. Trail and road conditions may vary by season. Distances listed are estimates. Programs may change due to weather or safety - always in the group’s best interest.

We follow published itineraries. Adventure Travel West is not responsible for third-party discrepancies or external trip descriptions.

How to Book Your Adventure

All bookings are completed online through our secure system. Here’s how to lock in your spot:

1. Create an account or log in via the trip page.
2. Select your departure and click “Book Now.”
3. Follow the steps to complete your details and pay your deposit.

If your preferred departure is marked “Limited” or “Closed,” get in touch so we can confirm availability.
